Elaine Coady is an experienced cardiology clinician leading and commissioning innovative service design. She has worked in the NHS for nearly 30 years; latterly as a nurse consultant in cardiology and as an external consultant in the commissioning of community cardiology services.
Elaine is a highly qualified and experienced consultant with extensive clinical and project management expertise in the delivery of new and changing services. Elaine has designed and delivered complex care pathways in areas such as heart failure, chest pain, arrhythmia management and resuscitation. Elaine has particular expertise in the transference of skills and services across traditional organisational boundaries and testing new ways of working. She has shared her knowledge and expertise widely as a public speaker, a lecturer and is widely published. Elaine has been assisted in IT and Operations by Jonathan Spencer.
Jonathan Spencer has had a career in communications, operations and information technology, working in the public and private sector, he also is qualified and practised in professional counselling and business psychology. Something he sees as important when so few cardiac patients get the psychological help they need nationally.
Jonathans expertise is in the development of operations, work flow, information technology and communications. Jonathan has worked in a consultative capacity and project managed with health care trusts, charities, the arts, trade unions, commerce and industry.
